I read a total of 110 book this year, and there were some really great ones. These are the best of them.

Honorable Mentions

Before we commence with my top 10 here’s a couple of honorable mentions.

Station Eleven by Emily St John Mandel was a re-read this year, and it’s solidly placed it into my favourite books of all time. Meanwhile Force of Nature by Jane Harper was a close contender for my top 10, except it’s not due for release until 2018 in the UK. My post on the blog tour is coming in February.

I really enjoyed Daughter of Smoke and Bone last year, so I’m keen to get to the rest of the series. In fact, I’m currently reading Days of Blood and Starlight.
