1. Do you have a certain place at home for reading?

I do most of my reading in bed, althought will happily read curled up on the sofa as well.

2. Bookmark or random piece of paper?

Bookmark every time. I collect bookmarks, and try to pick one up whenever I visit somewhere new. And I try and match my bookmark to my book when I can!

Blogmas Day 4 | YaLit Cardiff (Book Talk)

On Saturday, I FINALLY managed to make it to a YA Lit Cardiff event. These are events focused on (you guessed it) YA books and their authors, and run in the Cardiff area. They’re organised by the lovely Karen Bultiauw (@karenbultiauw) along with author Claire Fayers (@ClaireFayers).

This one focused on the recent YA anthology Three Strikes, and on the pane were authors Lucy Christopher and Kat Ellis along with publisher and editor Penny Thomas (Firefly Press).

And this was a great first event for me! I devoured Three Strikes when I read it earlier in the week (you can find my review here) and I was excited to hear more about it.
