Q2 Book Haul

I’m currently challenging myself to buy less books by sticking to certain rules (which you can find here). I’ve not completely stuck to it this quarter, but I’ve not gone too wild either.

Books I’ve Bought

I read a further 12 books which I owned, and I also un-hauled 6. So that means I’m allowed to buy 6 books this quarter. I ended up buy 7, not great but could have been worse! I’ve actually already read 3 of them as well, which I feel like makes it better somehow.

I’ve had three 5* reads so far this year and all three have been very different books

Bird Box by Josh Malerman was incredibly creepy and has made me want to read more horror/thrillers. Red Sister by Mark Lawrence sucked me right into this new world. And The Nowhere Girls by Amy Reed is an incredibly powerful story everyone should read.
