Book Review: Forever Autumn by Mark Morris

Forever Autumn by Mark Morris (Doctor Who: New Series Adventures #16)

Published: 2007

Format: Hardback

Pages: 256

Genre: Science Fiction, TV Tie-In

Martha and the Doctor land in New England. It’s almost Halloween and preparations are underway in the small town of Blackwood Falls. But as a green mist begins to cover the town, it’s clear that this will be no ordinary Halloween.

This was an enjoyable story and I really enjoyed Mark Morris writting. Plus Halloween was a great setting for the plot. However, the ‘monsters’ were weak: they seemed incredibly cartoonish. Overall this wasn’t the best of the series, but it was enjoyable enough.

If you’re a fan of Doctor Who and haven’t checked this series out already I highly recommend it. The series doesn’t have to be read in order, just make sure you’ve watched the show up to the right point (depending on who the companion/doctor combination is). Pick you’re a book with your favourite team TARDIS, or let me know if you want a recommendation!
