The Night Circus is a circus like no other. One day, without warning, it arrives. The sign on the gate reading ‘Opens at Nightfall. Closes at Dawn’

That’s a frustratingly brief description of the book, but the best way to approach it is with mystery.

I really loved this book!

The competition was great, and although it was frustratingly mysterious at times I really liked how we were as much in the dark as the competitors along the way.

The chapters switching through time were slightly confusing to begin with, but I soon got into them and loved how they all came together in the end.

But the real star of this book was the circus itself. It was described beautifully, with some key tents described in beautiful detail and others just hinted at to leave your imagination run free. The circus was a beautiful, magical and mysterious place and I want to visit!
